Meet "Bo" the Beagle, our latest pooch adoption. Ok....so it may not be the referral to our daughter from China we have forever waited for, but for now we hope this new beagle will add many memories to our very slow growing familia. Isn't he sweet?Here's a little info on "Bo":
"Bo"s about 1 year old & he came to us from Arizona. His original family couldn't keep him because he kept jumping their 4 foot fence & they feared he would get hit by a car or get eaten by hungry coyotes. So after my sister heard this story from one of her co-workers, she inquired more about him & called me to tell me she had "found my beagle". ( She knew we were actually hoping to find one to give "Dalila" our lab mix a companion. My sister ended up driving him down along with her own two dogs "Coco" and "Athena" & we got him just in time for Christmas.
So far, "Bo's" been a perfect fit for us. At first, "Dalila" wanted nothing to do with him, but now she's totally in love. "Dalila's" been a little lazy for some time now so with "Bo" around she's been getting a lot of exercise chasing him around the gazebo & they're also both pretty good at making us feel guilty when we don't take them out for walks. "Bo" will be sleeping inside the house for now until we secure our back fencing ( he's already escaped about 4 times since we got him ), believe it or not he actually jumps & claws the top of the wooden fence & crawls over like a cat. But he seems to be doing great now that he's getting used to his new routine. He's a good dog. We can't wait to bring Madeline home, she's going to love these pooches.
