Craft Hope for Haiti

On January 12, 2010, a devastating quake hit Haiti, causing the end of thousands of lives. It's been just horrific to watch these poor people on television as they wait for the world to help. Feeling helpless myself, I've been eager to help in any way by either donating a few dollars to a relief fund, donating shoes, and most recently donating a few items from my Etsy shop to Craft Hope for Haiti. Craft Hope has set up an Etsy shop exclusively to raise funds to benefit Doctors Without Borders ( 100% of the funds are being donated directly ). It's been amazing to watch their shop burst with sales and donations from crafters from all over the world. Whether you're a crafter yourself or a shopper, visit their Etsy shop & help to re-create hope for Haiti.

Here's one of the items I donated. It's a little pillowtop dress I made with garden-bugs fabric & hot pink ribbon ties.
